Ward Headley, Founder and President

Direct Sportslink's Founder and President, Ward Headley, has worked extensively for two of the top three sports marketing companies in the world (Octagon and Host Communications). An experienced sports marketer, Ward has negotiated some of the largest sponsorship contracts in specific sports, secured numerous high profile sports celebrities for corporations, and marketed some of the top athletes in the world. Ward has earned the trust of major corporations by exceeding their expectations; a few clients include Transamerica, H&R Block, Hewlett-Packard, Sony Entertainment, Wilson Sporting Goods, BIC Corporation and Cabela's, Inc. to name a few.

Nick Schmitz, President - Celebrity Appearances Division

Nick Schmitz is the President of Direct Sportslink's Celebrity Appearances Division. Before Direct Sportslink, Nick served as the President of the Celebrity Players Tour, a premier celebrity golf tour. He has worked on a daily basis with numerous sports celebrities, including the likes of Marcus Allen, Roger Clemens, Charles Barkley, and Eric Dickerson to name a few. Nick is a graduate of Duke University and currently works and resides in New York.
