As an American sportscaster, Van Pelt has made many appearances on Sportscenter along with his own show, The Scott Van Pelt Show. He has also been one of the top golf correspondants as he has covered major tournaments such as The Masters, the Brtish Open, the U.S. Open, and the PGA Championship when he was an anchor on the Golf Channel.
Ever since he joined ESPN in 2001, Van Pelt as been a prominent personality for ESPN Radio. He has also been a commentator for golf video games and even played a comedic role in the Aqua Teen Hunger Force video game.
