The Kansas City Royals are a Major League Baseball team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Royals won the World Series in 1985.
Kansas City hosted the MLB All-Star Game in 2012 that featured baseball player appearances by many of the best players including; Josh Hamilton, Justin Verlander, Joey Votto, Prince Fielder, R.A. Dickey, and Chipper Jones. The National League team was managed by Tony LaRussa.
