The Washington Wizards are a professional basketball team based in Washington, D.C.. The Washington Wizards play in the National Basketball Association, and currently play their home games at the Verizon Center, in the Chinatown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Washington basketball stars have included Wes Unseld and Kevin Greevey from the days of the Washington Bullets. The Wizards were owned at one time by Michael Jordan who purchased the Charlotte Bobcats after his involvement with the Wizards.
