Luck played college football for Stanford University, won the Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Award as college football's player of the year, and was recognized as an All-American. He was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in both 2010 and 2011. He was named the Offensive Player of the Year in the Pac-12 (Pac-10) Conference in both 2010 and 2011.
Luck was selected first overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2012 and was the NFL Rookie of the Week three times during 2012.
