Christopher Paul Mullin is a revered figure in the world of basketball, known for his exceptional skills as a player, coach, and executive. Born on July 30, 1963, Mullin's basketball journey began at St. John's University, where he became one of the most decorated players in the school's history. He was named Big East Player of the Year three times and earned a spot on the 1984 U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball team. His collegiate success led to his selection as the seventh overall pick in the 1985 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, marking the start of a stellar professional career.

Mullin's NBA career spanned from 1985 to 2001, during which he established himself as one of the league's premier shooting guards and small forwards. He spent the majority of his career with the Golden State Warriors, where his sharp shooting and basketball IQ made him a fan favorite. Mullin was a five-time NBA All-Star and was known for his ability to score from anywhere on the court. After 12 seasons with the Warriors, he played for the Indiana Pacers from 1997 to 2000 before returning to Golden State for his final season in 2000-01.

One of the highlights of Mullin's career was his participation in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as a member of the legendary "Dream Team," the first U.S. Olympic basketball team to feature NBA players. Alongside basketball icons like Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird, Mullin helped lead the team to a gold medal, solidifying his place in basketball history. His contributions to the sport were further recognized when he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame twice—once in 2010 as part of the Dream Team and again in 2011 for his individual career.

After retiring as a player, Mullin transitioned into executive roles, serving as a special advisor for the Sacramento Kings and later as the general manager of the Golden State Warriors. He also returned to his alma mater, St. John's University, to coach the men's basketball team from 2015 to 2019. Mullin's impact on the game of basketball, both on and off the court, remains significant, and his legacy as one of the sport's greats is firmly established.
