Born on May 9, 1975, Kiffin has held various high-profile coaching positions, including his current role as the head coach at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss). His coaching journey began early, and he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the youngest head coaches in modern NFL history when he took over the Oakland Raiders in 2007. Kiffin's offensive acumen and innovative play-calling have made him a respected name in football circles.

Kiffin's coaching career has been marked by several notable stops, including his time as the offensive coordinator at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2005 to 2006. His success at USC led to his first head coaching opportunity in the NFL with the Raiders. Although his tenure in Oakland was short-lived, Kiffin returned to the college ranks, where he continued to build his reputation. In 2009, he became the head coach at the University of Tennessee, and the following year, he returned to USC as head coach, where he remained until 2013.

After his time at USC, Kiffin joined the University of Alabama as the offensive coordinator under legendary coach Nick Saban. From 2014 to 2016, Kiffin helped lead Alabama to multiple national championships, further solidifying his status as one of the top offensive minds in the game. His success at Alabama earned him another head coaching opportunity, this time at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), where he revitalized the program and led the team to two Conference USA championships during his tenure from 2017 to 2019.

In December 2019, Kiffin was hired as the head coach at Ole Miss, where he has continued to make an impact with his high-powered offensive schemes. Known for his ability to develop quarterbacks and create dynamic offenses, Kiffin has brought excitement to the Ole Miss program and has positioned the team as a competitive force in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). His coaching career, marked by both challenges and successes, has made him one of the most intriguing figures in modern football.
