Jason Elam began his college football career as the placekicker for the University of Hawaii at Mãnoa in 1988. In his four-year career, he scored 397 points and kicked 79 field goals.
The Denver Broncos selected Elam in the 1993 NFL draft. Throughout Elam’s career, he was selected to three Pro-Bowls and helped lead the Broncos to a win in Super Bowl’s XXXII and XXXIII.
At his retirement, he was the NFL record holder for best extra point conversion percentage, most consecutive seasons with at least 100 points. He was the first NFL player to score at least 200 points on three or more teams.
