Alongside Tom Flores, Ditka is part of an elite group that has achieved this rare trifecta. He is also the only person to have participated in both of the Chicago Bears' last two league championships, first as a player in 1963 and later as the head coach in 1985. His contributions to the game have earned him a place on the NFL's 75th- and 100th-Anniversary All-Time Teams, further solidifying his legacy as one of the sport's all-time greats.

In addition to his football career, Ditka has remained active in the sports world through various ventures, including his role as a television commentator and his ownership of the X League, a women's tackle football league. Known for his fiery personality and deep knowledge of the game, Ditka has become a beloved figure in American sports culture.
