Jeremy Shockey attended the University of Miami where he played college football as a tight end. He was a member of the 2001 National Championship winning team and named first-team All American.
Shockey was selected by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He received the Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year award that same year after recieving 894 yds. He was selected to play in the Pro Bowl in four of his first five seasons and had a record 7 TD's in both the 2005-2006 seasons.
In 2008, after the Giants Super Bowl XLII win, Shockey was traded to the New Orleans Saints. In 2010, Shockey would be a key member of the Super Bowl XLIV winning team.
Shockey last played in 2011 after being signed to the Carolina Panthers for one year.
