Ty Lawson Bio

Lawson played college basketball for the University of North Caroline where he helped lead the team to win the 2009 National Championship. In the same year, he was named the ACC Basketball Player of the Year. He decided to forgo his senior season at UNC, and was drafted as the 18th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, and was immediately traded to the Nuggets.
